Start With the Shoes…
These Christopher Kane bejewelled shoe-boots were a lucky find at a London sample sale at the end of November. They’re like jewellery for your feet, so anything you pair with them will need little adornment. Here I’ve gone a little ‘Cabaret’ with the sequinned blazer and fishnets. But of course, you could add a skirt or shorts to increase the wearability factor!

Suit Up!
Having lusted over this red sequinned suit since I spotted it online several months ago, it was inevitable that I would eventually buy it! To me, it embodies grown-up, effortless elegance in the vain of Cate Blanchett or Uma Thurman. To echo that, I’ve team it here with a t-shirt, but of course, a cami, silk shirt or simply nothing beneath would take the glamour factor up another notch.

Play it Cool
When the weather’s bad and we’ve got to head out and party, sometimes a little off-duty, casual chic is the coolest option. That’s when I reach for my trusty leather leggings and a ‘nice top’. Here, my HM x Giambatista Valli red, silk blouse is doing all the work, with added sparkle from my diamanté shoe-boots and tassel earrings. Just add your favourite puffer coat (preferably with hood) and you’re good to go, whatever the weather.
